Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara 2025 Unveiled! India’s Most Awaited Electric SUV
The new Maruti Suzuki E Vitara 2025 is an upcoming SUV with a futuristic design and shape. It will offer many comfort, safety and feel-good features. The automaker’s first electric vehicle reflects the design language for Maruti’s future models.
The e-Vitara will be available with two battery packs. It has been launched in India at the Bharat Mobility Show 2025. This electric SUV will be retailed through the dealerships of the premium Nexa chain.
Maruti Suzuki e Vitara Design and Look

- The Maruti E Vitara base variant, called the Delta, will get a smaller 48.8 kWh battery pack. Meanwhile, the larger 61.1 kWh unit will be available with the higher-spec Zeta and Alpha variants.
- The e Vitara will be offered with 49.8kW and 61.1kW battery packs.
- Maruti Suzuki has once again pushed the launch of the e-Vitara. The model is scheduled to arrive by the end of September this year.
Features
- Unlike most of its rivals, which get a sleek design, the Maruti E Vitara gets a chunky and sturdy design.
- The front features a glossy black plastic panel, which merges into the LED headlights with a Y-shaped DRL insignia.
- It sits on 18-inch alloy wheels with slick aero covers, plenty of body cladding, and a healthy ground clearance give it an SUV look.
Engine and Power of Maruti Suzuki
The Maruti Suzuki e-Vitara will offer two engine/power options: a 142 bhp (105.8 kW) motor with a 49 kWh battery and a 172 bhp (128 kW) motor with a 61 kWh battery.

Both versions produce 189 Nm of torque. There is also an optional dual-motor all-wheel drive (AWD) system for the 61 kWh batteries, which produces 181 bhp and 300 Nm of torque.

Price of e Vitara
The Maruti E Vitara is expected to be priced between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 30 lakh (expected) for the top-spec model. It competes with the Creta EV, Mahindra BE6, MG ZS EV, and Tata Curve. Coolers of Maruti E Vitara include Nexa Blue, Splendid Silver, Arctic White, Grandeur Grey, Bluish Black, and Opulent Red. The dual-tone model will feature a black roof and A- and B-pillars, along with color options of Arctic White, Land Breeze Green, Splendid Silver, and Opulent Red.
Launch Date of Suzuki e Vitara
- Expected to launch in May 2025.
- Select dealers are accepting unofficial pre-bookings.
Maruti Suzuki’s first electric offering, the e-Vitara, was expected to launch in India in May 2025. We can confirm that the launch of the model has been delayed and will now take place in the second half of the current calendar year.
